 Planning for 2011 is already underway to make this the musical event of winter. 

First there will be a minor name change to the

Rock 'n Blues Jam

In support of Children's Causes

We've had a lot of people who thought the name "Rock 'n Blues Jam for Kids" meant that children could attend.  Unfortunately the license for our venue won't allow that and turning people away at the door is never pleasant.

We are also contemplating moving away from the open jam concept to having bands and musicians register in advance.  We are thinking of this for a number of reasons.

1. There was only 1 jam band last year.
2. Bands will also get fixed times to play.  That will make planning a whole lot easier for us and the musicians can plan their day better.
3. We will be able to give each band more time on stage, which every musicians wants.

This does not mean ad hoc bands won't be accepted.  Anyone can feel free to put a band together for this event.  If you are not in a band, we can arrange put you in a band.  Just let us know in advance.
